50 Years of Mustang with Lee Iacocca

This week’s Jay Leno’s Garage is almost half an hour long, but oh, what a half hour it is! It features America’s most iconic muscle car, the Ford Mustang, which is celebrating fifty years of history.

The episode is awesome. It starts with Iacocca, one of the most well-known automotive executives of all time, who shows the very first Mustang 1 concept car and then the first pre-production model, which was purchased from a customer after an accidental sale back in the day, and then walks through the fifty years of history this car has up to the present.

It then jumps to a sneak peak of the upcoming and very much anticipated 2015 Mustang GT, whose prototype has wowed aficionados and which will unveil officially at Detroit in a couple of weeks.

Check it out!
