Highway to [Hazmat] Hell [video]

This video has become extremely popular since posting at the first of the month. It’s being used, apparently, as a showcase of the bad things that can happen when a hazardous materials (Hazmat) driver doesn’t pay attention or properly secure his or her load.

The video itself is a highway accident involving a truck carrying what appear to be either fireworks, canisters of flammables/compressed gases, or something similar. That truck collides with another car and three minutes of fire and small explosions follow. Even Hollywood can’t make it this good.

Luckily, it appears no one was hurt in the wreck. The driver can be seen running from the truck when the flames start and the other vehicle involved in the accident was pushed forward out of the flames. The video itself originates in Russia, where dashboard cameras are common due to insurance fraud and discounts for having them installed. The AC/DC background music (Highway to Hell) is an added bonus.
