Which Mazda Model Would Best Suit You This Summer?

by Emily Muelford, a British car enthusiast and friend of CarNewsCafe

If you’re thinking about buying a new car this year, you’d do well to look at the entire Mazda range. While some people do prefer something a bit more luxurious, those of us on a budget could definitely benefit from checking out the models on sale from this manufacturer. For the most part, you will have seen all the cars I’m about to mention on the roads in your local area, so don’t worry, there aren’t any shocks or exclusives in store. All I’m trying to do is make you see the value in these particular automobiles. Of course, you don’t have to pay attention to me, and you certainly don’t have to take heed. However, as you will probably realize in a moment, I do know what I’m talking about.

The Mazda website says that the CX-5 model is selling more than any other at the moment, but this could be because people want something a little more substantial for their family. Even so, you should still take a quick look at all the other suggestions I’ve made below this paragraph. You never know, the information I’m about to relay could well inspire you to jump on board the Mazda train and invest in a seriously cool car that is guaranteed to last you for years to come.

Mazda 3 MPS

If you like overpowered cars with some serious pull, this is the model you’ll most likely feel attracted to. It’s a lot quicker off the mark than any of the others listed here (except for the MX-5), and as it’s designed as a road car, rather than a sports car, it’s actually pretty nice to drive. Just make sure you double check all the specs before purchasing if you’re doing so on the private market, as there are so many editions out there, it can be difficult to know exactly what you’re getting.

Editor’s note: watch for a review of the Mazda3 coming very soon to this website.

Mazda CX-7

This one is very similar to the CX-5, except it’s a bit lower to the ground. Obviously, this creates less wind resistance, and so traveling long distances on motorways is far more enjoyable. With top speeds of around 160 mph, you’ll still need to be extremely careful when putting your foot down, as this is one powerful machine. That said, it actually has some of the best safety features found in any of the models designed and created by this manufacturer, so don’t get hung up too much on the engine.

Mazda MX-5

You’ve all seen thousands of these on the roads over the last ten years, and so you should already know exactly what they look like, and why they’re so appealing. Still, for anyone who’s been living under a rock the whole time, let me explain. The MX-5 is one of the smartest and most desirable sports cars in existence, and it has a forecourt price tag of around £18,000. So, if you want to feel the wind rushing through your hair in a car that’s incredibly low to the ground, the MX-5 is your baby.

Thanks for reading all the way through this post guys. It’s nice to know I’m having some kind of positive impact on your decision making.

See you back here tomorrow!
