Koenigsegg Agera One:1 making debut at Goodwood (plus gallery)

The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 supercar will make its debut in the United Kingdom at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 26-29. Billed as the world’s first “megacar,” the new Agera One:1 will also be in the Michelin Supercar Run at the festival, making this the first time two of the exclusive One:1 cars have appeared together in one place.

Koenigsegg’s One:1 is the first homologated production car in the world with one Megawatt of power, with the astonishing bhp to kg curb weight ratio of 1:1, hence the name and ‘Megacar’ moniker.

Specification highlights of the Koenigsegg One:1 include: 610kg down-force at 260km/h using advanced active under and over body aerodynamics; 20% lighter carbon chassis and body; fully active aero with independent left and right front flaps and hydraulic dual plane rear wing; 3G and GPS controlled Predictive Active Chassis; 3G connectivity for telemetry, performance, lap times and a dedicated telephone app.

It is anticipated that the One:1 will be the world’s fastest homologated production car, with a simulated top speed of >440km/h achieved in testing.

For those who want an Agera One:1 for themselves.. well, sorry, but the first series production has already been sold out and the car hasn’t even gone into production yet.
