Take a ride in an Indy car at the newly-improved IMS

The new Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been updated, with a more dynamic road course after a $5 million renovation that began last October. Now ready for the season, KV Racing IndyCar driver Sebastien Bourdais takes us for a POV camera tour of the course, taking it slow for the first couple of minutes to highlight the various updates and changes and then ripping through it the way a championship racer should.

What you’re seeing is a new 3-foot elevation change at Turn 1 and the turns are tighter, which will mean more car-on-car maneuvering during a grand prix.
