Ford Grabs Fourth Consecutive Global Rallycross Championship

This weekend saw a double podium finish for Ford, clinching the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship in round seven held in Los Angeles, California. Olsbergs MSE Joni Wiman took second while Hoonigan Racing’s Ken Block grabbed third.

“We are proud of the success the Fiesta ST has had in the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship series over the last four years,” said Jamie Allison, director, Ford Racing. “Winning Ford’s fourth consecutive manufacturers’ championship shows that we have the right car for this sport, and the right winning combination of teams and drivers.”

Three rounds of racing remain in the season, but Ford has secured the manufacturer’s championship this year with a very successful season so far.
