Car News Cafe inaugurates the new year with a roundup and impressions from the 2015 North American International Auto Show, commonly referred to as the Detroit show. As the biggest show of the year, in terms of unveilings and auomakers’ trends, NAIAS is the most important show for automotive journalists.
This year was no exception as hundreds of vehicles made the show floor and dozens of unveils took place on the two fast-paced media preview days before the floor opened to the public.
We welcome special guests Jimmy Dinsmore, long-time contributor to Car News Cafe, and Tim Esterdahl, a good friend of CNC who writes for eBay Motors, PickupTrucks.com, and others. Nicolas moderates as Aaron, Jimmy, and Tim talk about their impressions of NAIAS this year and what visitors can expect to see on the Cobo Center floor in Detroit.
Highlights include talk of pickup trucks from Nissan, Ford, Ram, and Toyota as well as concept cars from Buick, Chevrolet, Hyundai, and more. Learn about the Local Motors 3D printing process, the atmosphere at the show this year, and a lot of other great stuff.
