So You Think You 4×4? This 1920s Dodge Brothers Sedan Puts You To Shame

Many of us today enjoy going out off the road and bouncing through the landscape. Our favorite days are the days after a hard rainfall because we know there will be mud along our favorite dirt track or out in our favorite pasture. Some four-wheel drive ventures, however, are for work. Even today, getting to the cattle on the ranch, setting up the latest drill site, laying foundations for a new home, and a lot of other endeavors involve digging through the muck in your truck or sport utility.

Yet with all of our modern technology and four-wheel drive awesomeness, we seem to have nothing on what they did back in the day. This vintage video shows a 1920s Dodge Brothers sedan digging through the muck at an oil field site. Watch and learn.
