Now You Can 3D Print Your Favorite Fords

Ford has issued CAD specs to allow those with a 3D printer to download and print their favorite Ford models. These include the F-150 Raptor, Shelby GT350R, Focus ST, and the Fiesta ST. Ford plans to add more models over time, until the entire lineup is online.

The images are free to download and use in non-commercial applications. The digital store also allows people to buy digital files for more than 1,000 Ford images or even printed 3D models (if you don’t have your own printer).

“3D printing at home is a growing trend, and it makes sense for us to offer our customers a chance to make their own 3D Ford models,” said Mark Bentley, licensing manager, Ford Global Brand Licensing. “At Ford, we’re using 3D printing every day to rapidly prototype parts, and now we want to share that fun with our fans.”
