Top Gear Trio Sign Deal With Amazon, #Drive2Prime

Former Top Gear UK hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammon, and James May have penned a deal with Amazon to create a new series, as yet unnamed, exclusively for their Prime streaming service.

The three-season deal has the trio coming back together for a car-themed show, though details aren’t yet released on what type of show or what kind of budget it will have. it will be global in reach, though, aiming for all of the major markets in which Amazon streams content. Former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman will also join the group.

Amazon has yet to announce any details for the show, its format, or production scheduling. They are using the hashtag #Drive2Prime (as in our title here) for it, though, which may indicate a hint at the potential title.
