Indy Cars on the Golden Gate Bridge in 3D

Ever want to ride in an Indy car? How about driving one across the Golden Gate Bridge? How about doing that when traffic has been blocked and you and your friends have it to yourself? Well, here’s the next best thing.

Four competition-spec Indy cars took to the bridge in a publicity stunt aimed towards promoting the final race held in Sonoma, California. The drive was taken to honor the memory of Justin Wilson, who died on the track this year, with his car taking center stage for this drive. A 3D camera rig allows you to watch the drive and turn the camera however you’d like to see it from any angle you wish, all centered on the driver’s seat of the car.
