2022 Infiniti QX60 – Comfort In Luxury

The QX60 is one of Infiniti’s modern projects as they seek to enter the luxury-SUV market.

If you are a lover of luxury SUVs, the 2022 Infiniti QX60 is your go-to option. This model is a complete rebranding of the old JX35 from 2013 and comes with a three-row system.

The QX60 is one of Infiniti’s modern projects as they seek to enter the luxury-SUV market. The company was renowned for manufacturing luxury sedans, but they have since manufactured a series of luxury SUVs.

The car is becoming a hit among SUV lovers because of the ample room, silent driving mode, and many other features. Let us look at the new features added to the QX60 and how they fare against other luxury SUVs.

Driving Feel

The Infiniti QX60 was out of production for about a year and made its comeback in 2022 with many new features. I was fortunate to have found a 2022 Infiniti QX60 for sale on Autozin, the best online platform to purchase used cars. The car was only about 2 months old and was put up for sale on Autozin because the car’s owner had to move abroad urgently.

When I laid my eyes on the QX60, I couldn’t wait to drive it around town. So, when I got my hands on the car, I immediately jumped in and started the car. While driving, I could help but notice that the car was as smooth as any other luxury SUV.

Since it was a large car, I thought it would be a little difficult to handle. However, it was the complete opposite of my assumption. The car-handing was the easiest I’ve experienced in a long time.

This SUV is fit for all types of terrain and doesn’t compromise on comfort. Since it is known for being silent, I could enjoy a smooth ride throughout the test drive.

The only disadvantage of this SUV would be its overly-sensitive suspension. I could feel every minor bump on uneven roads while driving high speeds. Other than that, there were no other inconveniences.

The car’s speed is top-notch, and it has no problems overtaking other cars on the highway. While driving up the road at higher altitudes, the power goes down a notch. So, maybe Infiniti can look to improve that issue.

The new 9-speed transmission feature is an excellent addition to this car, giving customers just what they were asking for on previous models. It has the same 3.5-L V6 engine, but most features have been upgraded.

Interiors and Exteriors

As mentioned above, the QX60 has become a hit among customers due to its spacious room inside. If you add the outstanding exterior to the mix, you will have a comfortable and beautiful SUV.

Interior

The interior is the star of the 2022 Infiniti QX60, mainly because of the three-row seats. People below 6 and a half feet can easily fit in this car, especially in the first and second rows. I thought I would have trouble with the leg space when I got into the driver’s seat, but there was enough space for my legs.

Being a guy above 6 feet, I did not feel cramped inside the car since the roof was pretty high. You can adjust the seats by sliding them back and forth or using recline and incline features.

The only downside with the seat arrangements would be the third row. If you have a family with young children, you can let the children sit in the last row. This is because the last row does not have much room for adults to sit comfortably.

The company has devised an excellent idea to enlarge the cargo space in the QX60. The cargo space is primarily 14.5 cubic feet, but you can create more space by folding the third-row seats. This gives you ample space of around 41.6 cubic feet to keep all your baggage.

The crazy thing about this car is you can even drop down the second-row seats to create more space for your cargo. You can even use it as a bed to sleep on when camping, as it will give you around 75.4 cubic feet of space inside the car.

You can also remove the center console in the second row to make more space to move around. The second-row seats have a one-touch tilt and slide feature, helping your kids to jump into the third row without any hassles. The car has all the standard features when it comes to gadgets, along with a 12.3-inch screen on the dashboard.

Exterior

The QX60’s exterior has a sleek design and comes with a sunroof. The front of the car has a large grill with a silver Infiniti logo, giving it a luxurious look. It has slim piano-style LED headlights at the front, and similar tail lights at the back.

It has painted alloy wheels, 18 X 8.0 inches each, and is compatible with all seasons. You can add splash guards for about 250 dollars if you wish to and upgrade the paint to premium by paying around 700 dollars.

The QX60’s exterior is as attractive as a luxury SUV should be. It is far better than its predecessor, the JX35. However, the luxury status comes from the car’s interiors and features.

In-car Features

The QX60 has 9 speakers for you to enjoy your music, USB connections, and auxiliary audio input. It also provides AM/FM stereo and 3 months of satellite radio service.

The power features include four one-touch power windows, hands-free entry, heated mirrors, etc. The heated mirrors are an excellent addition to have during snowy winters.

A rear-view camera is at the back to help you see what’s behind your car while driving or going in reverse. The steering wheel is also heated and is wrapped with high-end leather. The leather in the interior can come in sandstone or graphite colors.

The QX60 has electric power steering, where you will have audio and cruise controls. The keyless ignition is very convenient as it can prevent your QX60 from theft. The 2022 Infiniti QX60 is one of the most luxurious SUVs Infinity has manufactured recently, with little to no complaints.
