At the tender age of 6, Nicolas Zart saw the back of his parent’s friend’s Bugatti 37 which left an indelible impression on him. Years later, he rekindled his love of old cars with a string of Alfa Romeos in Europe but it wasn’t until he test drove an AC Propulsion eBox and a Tesla Motors Roadster that the light bulb went off.  Electric cars have a lot to offer and are the way of the future. Surely if this old car fanatic can be converted, so can you… and we mean old cars… not old man, right?

In 2006 he started as an enthusiast electric vehicle blog, and soon the Examiner asked him to write for them. Soon after Torquenews and Michelin’s Challenge Bibendum asked him to become a contributor. He is an accredited member of the International Motor Press Association (IMPA) and the Motor Press Guild (MPG). Nicolas writes about Green Performance Car, electric vehicles (EV) ranging from electric cars and motorcycles, as well as plug-in hybrids, PHEV and the occasional collector car article. An avid Italian collector car aficionado, he wonders why there is no electric Alfa Romeo yet. You can read more at  Here on CarNewsCafe, Nicolas is a Staff Writer and New Media Expert.
