Watch a Guy on a Bicycle Make a Ferrari Cry on the Race Track

Ever wonder what would happen if a bicycle and a Ferrari were to go head-to-head on the drag strip? No? Well, you might be surprised to know that the Ferrari gets smoked. Hard.

Of course, this is no ordinary bicycle. It’s actually Swiss rider Francois Gissy on his rocket-propelled bicycle, which has a top speed of 207 mph and a quarter mile time of 6.8 seconds.

Let that sink in for a minute. 207 miles per hour pulling 3.1 g’s in acceleration thanks to 944 pounds of thrust. On a BICYCLE.

Ya, the guy is certifiable. Still, he doesn’t just smoke a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, he blows it away so hard that the Ferrari driver gave up halfway down the strip.

Now hear this. Gissy plans to come back in 2015 with an even more powerful rocket bike. He’s calling it “Spine Crusher.” As in if you don’t have a solid spine, you’ll wuss out. At least, we hope that’s what he’s referring to.
