The amount of work it takes to create a Formula 1 car, from drawing board to track, requires a whole team of designers, engineers, and skilled craftsmen. Few people are aware of what’s involved. Infiniti, along with Red Bull Racing, are now taking F1 fans and gearheads behind the scenes in a new four-part online series.
This first episode explores the Research and Development that go into Formula 1 racing. In the video you can see a part of the design process with Red Bull’s chief car designer Adrian Newey. While Formula 1 car designers are not usually household names, the drivers Adrian Newey has worked with are; drivers like Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, and of course Red Bull’s 3-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.
