F1 driver Michael Schumacher out of intensive care

In December of last year, Formula One legend Michael Schumacher sustained brain injuries during a ski trip. Doctors treating him in Grenoble induced a coma. Breaking news now is that Schumacher is out of the coma, awake, and has been transported from Grenoble Hospital to the University Hospital of Lausanne in his hometown.

Great news for Michael’s family and friends and for the racing world at large, who have been concerned about this F1 star’s condition since the accident.

There has been no information on whether the injury has caused any other affects to the legendary driver, but we here at CarNewsCafe are wishing he and his family a speedy recovery.
