Shell Rotella SuperRigs 2023 in Gillette, Wyoming

The annual SuperRigs show, which has truck drivers from around North America showing up to compete, was held in Gillette, Wyoming this year. The show featured about thirty big rigs coming from all over the U.S. and Canada, competing to win prizes for their rigs.

The Best Themed truck winner was a beautiful two-tone blue Doc Holliday-themed Peterbilt 379. Truett and Crystal Novosad of College Station, Texas own the winning Pete EXHD.

This lime green and slammed 379 Pete from Aragon Trucking took first runner-up for Best of Show. Its owner Mark Aragon of Lasalle, Colorado named the truck “Slammed Distraction.”

Ben Overton of Winnipeg, MB Canada, took second runner-up for Best of Show with his Kenworth W9B tractor and tanker trailer. He also took Best Engine.

A 2022 Kenworth W900L pulling a 2023 Merritt Livestock trailer and its owner Cody Davis of Cokeville, Wyoming took Best of Show – Lights in this year’s show.

A 1982 Kenworth W900A, owned by Clyde Greene from Cheyenne, Wyoming, took the Classic Division win.
