London’s Mayor, Boris Johnson, got to test drive the new Electric Metrocab along with taxidrivers as part of a press event according to About Alternative Cars.
“It’s superb, an absolutely beautiful machine and a masterpiece of British engineering. I have just driven it and it’s totally silent. It’s the Rolls Royce of taxis and it will do 100mpg.” commented Boris Johson about his spin in the new Metrocab. Taxidrivers that took part in the test drives only had positive things to saw about these new Electric Metrocabs as well. One cabbie even said he might delay his retirement so he could utilize a new Metrocab.
