Infiniti QX80 Concepts Unveiled At Monterey Car Week

Two very different versions of the same SUV are on display at Monterey during the Concours d'Elegance.
The powerful capability and confident control of the all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 is elevated with two provocative concept vehicles. Revealed at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, QX80 Track Spec represents INFINITI’s interpretation of the ultimate street performance SUV, evolving the sleek and purposeful QX80 into a more thrilling, focused performance machine. QX80 Terrain Spec offers overlanding enthusiasts the ability to securely venture nearly anywhere – in levels of comfort and sophistication unknown in most off-roaders.

Infiniti unveiled two bold concept versions of the 2025 QX80 at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, designed to show the flagship SUV’s extreme potential in opposite directions:

  • QX80 Track Spec – A street-focused performance SUV with aggressive styling, widened stance, 24-inch wheels, quad exhaust, and matte metallic black-blue wrap. Power comes from a heavily upgraded twin-turbo 3.5L V6 producing 650+ hp and 750+ lb-ft—Infiniti’s highest output ever—achieved with enhanced turbos, intercooler, fuel injectors, intake, and exhaust, while retaining stock internals. Enlarged Brembo brakes tame the extra speed.
  • QX80 Terrain Spec – An overlanding-inspired luxury off-roader featuring higher ride height, all-terrain tires, fender flares, limb risers, roof lightbar, rooftop tent, protective skid covers, and side-exit exhaust, finished in satin dark basalt wrap. It incorporates QX80’s advanced driver aids like Invisible Hood View and 3D Around View Monitor for navigating tough terrain.

Infiniti says the concepts reflect two mindsets—on-road thrill seekers and off-road adventurers—while underscoring its fast-to-market experimentation and premium SUV ambitions. The new QX80 itself has already won multiple awards, including IIHS Top Safety Pick+, Best-in-Class Premium SUV (NEMPA), and Best Interior honors.
