Trinitē Road Rally Debuts in Northern California This May

Created by the team behind the Rebelle Rally, Trinitē brings a fresh, inclusive approach to the paved-road rally scene.

A new precision-driving event is set to make its mark on the West Coast this spring as the inaugural Trinitē Road Rally launches May 4–7, 2026, in California. Created by the team behind the Rebelle Rally, the longest competitive off-road rally in the United States, Trinitē brings a fresh, inclusive approach to the paved-road rally scene.

Spanning roughly 500 miles over four days, including three days of driving, the rally begins at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco’s Presidio. From there, teams will wind through some of Northern California’s most scenic stretches, including coastal cliffs overlooking the Pacific and the shores of the Russian River, before culminating in a track day and awards celebration at the iconic Sonoma Raceway.

Unlike wheel-to-wheel racing, Trinitē follows a traditional time-speed-distance (TSD) regularity format. The competition rewards precision navigation and disciplined driving rather than outright speed. The focus is on accuracy, teamwork, and skill behind the wheel.

Built for the Cars in Your Driveway

One of Trinitē’s defining features is its inclusivity. The rally is open to everyday vehicles rather than specialized race cars, rare collectibles, or brand-specific entries. Three primary classes structure the competition:

  • Car
  • Classic
  • X-Cross® (SUVs and CUVs)

The mission is simple: celebrate all vehicles and create a welcoming, egalitarian space within motorsport. Whether it’s a modern crossover or a beloved classic, the event emphasizes capability, camaraderie, and connection over exclusivity.

Participants will follow carefully curated routes on paved and well-maintained roads, discovering scenic vistas and select “secret spots” along the way. The finale is a Track Day presented by Pennzoil at Sonoma Raceway, giving competitors the chance to experience one of America’s legendary circuits in a non-race format.

Future editions of the rally are expected to rotate to different regions, expanding the concept beyond its Northern California debut.

Encouraging Broader Participation

While not exclusive to women, Trinitē strongly encourages women to compete and participate, reflecting the influence they hold across automotive and adventure communities. Founder Emily Miller describes the event as a platform designed for both participants and their vehicles to shine, reinforcing the belief that motorsport should be experienced firsthand, not simply watched from the sidelines.

The inaugural rally will field up to 40 teams. Most entries will be invited by organizers, with limited application spots available. Interested individuals and companies can submit requests for information and apply through the event’s official channels.

With its blend of scenic touring, navigational challenge, and track-day excitement, Trinitē Road Rally positions itself as a new kind of motorsport gathering, one that brings everyday drivers into the heart of the rally experience.
