Luke Aker put his 1996 Nissan Maxima on Craigslist, offering it for $1,400 to anyone interested. The interested party turned out to be Nissan through its Director of Product Communications, Dan Bedore. The company purchased the car for $1,400 plus $1,000 donated to Aker’s charity of choice, the Wounded Warrior Project.
