McLaren just announced that the McLaren P1 will debut at the Geneva Motor Show with a special presenter, McLaren-Mercedes team driver Sergio Perez.  (In case you didn’t know Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez is a well respected Formula 1 driver that won the 2012 Malaysian Grand Prix.)  Showcasing the new McLaren P1 supercar with Sergio Perez will be Ron Dennis, McLaren Group’s Executive Chariman.  The two will also be joined by the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) Sport’s Formula 1 presenter Lee McKenzie.

For Sergio Perez and Ron Dennis this will be their first official public appearances together.  The highly anticipated and much hyped McLaren P1 supercar is something everyone is getting excited about ahead of the Geneva Motor Show.

CarNewsCafe covered McLaren P1’s innovative Hybrid powertrain and our senior writer Aaron Turpen wrote also wrote about the McLaren P1.

McLaren has really been trying to emphasize that the new McLaren P1 supercar is going to be have engineering and technological know-how derived right from their experience racing and winning in Formula 1.  Having Sergio Perez there to present and showcase the McLaren P1 will definitely help cement that image.

The McLaren P1 press conference is set to take place on Tuesday March 5th, 2013 during the Geneva Motor Show (also known as the International Motor Show.)

Hopefully these pictures of the McLaren P1 will make readers happy until then.
