Mazda HAZUMI concept unveils in Geneva and it’s HOT

The unveiling of hot new vehicles in Geneva has begun and Mazda definitely did not slouch. They brought, of all things, a beautiful hatchback subcompact that defies the norm in this segment. It carries the luscious new Mazda design language (KODO) along with some new surprises and a great interior.

Mazda’s Representative Director, President and CEO, Masamichi Kogai commented, “Mazda HAZUMI indicates the exciting direction of Mazda’s products which, with no exception, will deliver Mazda’s unique driving pleasure. We hope that they will enrich people’s lives, and help build a strong and lasting bond between Mazda and our customers.”

One of its features is the new SKYACTIV-D 1.5-liter diesel engine, meant to beat Euro 6 standards for emissions and deliver great torque output for powerful acceleration.
