Kia promises new 2015 Sedona at New York, issues teaser

The all-new 2015 Kia Sedona will unveil at the New York International Auto Show as a “multi-purpose vehicle” (code for “minivan”). Still, the Sedona is a good seller for the Kia brand and is one of the more popular minivans in the U.S. market, so the unveil of a new one is worth watching.

The van is being redone from top to bottom. Kia says it’s an all-new chassis with a new 3.3-liter gasoline direct injected (GDI) V6. Several interior updates and electronics are added as well, including their phenomenal UVO Infotainment system, which we tried on the Kia Forte and Sorento, concluding that currently, it’s one of the best setups in the business.

The 2015 Sedona will unveil this week when the press days for the New York show commence.
