For many avid car enthusiasts out there, owning a dream sportscar or vintage vehicle is a dream, but with competitions and giveaways, that dream could come true for some lucky folks.

Most car competitions have a similar entry process, usually involving answering a question followed by a live draw to announce the winner.

Here, we’ve drawn up some of the UK’s best online car competitions for you to enter. Good luck and of course, have fun!

Best of the Best

Founded by William Hindmarch, BotB began its journey of car giveaways in 1999. The company was born out of the founder’s love of cars, and Hindmarch simply wanted to give people the opportunity to win the car of their dreams. So far, the company has given away a whopping £42 million worth of prizes!

There are three competitions you can enter online: Midweek, Dream Car, and Lifestyle. For each competition, you simply add the tickets to your basket, and then play the Spot the Ball game (except for the Lifestyle competition, where you answer a question instead).

For both the Midweek and Dream Car competitions, the winner is selected via the Spot the Ball game. As BotB is not a lottery, Spot the Ball offers a fun alternative method entry and is a great way to identify a winner.

Auto Trader

Well-known by petrol heads, Auto Trader is one of the UK’s best known car sales sites, and each month they are giving away an electric car in partnership with Compare the Market. To enter, you simply need to enter your name, email address, and hold a UK driving license or passport. This April, they’re giving away a Tesla Model Y, if that’s not a car you’d like to win, you can check back each month as they change the prize.

Auto Trader was established in 1977, and very much changed the shape of automotive sales in the UK and Ireland. They have a huge partnership with more than 13,000 retailers. If you’re looking to enter a car giveaway competition with a reputable business, Auto Trader is certainly trust-worthy.

eSpares

Specialising in spare parts, we’re adding a curve ball to our list of competition providers here. Concentrating in home and electrical spare parts, they’re not exclusively motor related. However, they’re currently running a competition to win an electric Fiat 500e worth £24,000. To enter, you have two options: you can either spend £30 with them to be automatically entered, or, you can get your thinking cap on and send them a letter, explaining why fixing and repairing is important to you. This is a great competition, offering a refreshing method of entry. They often run different competitions on their site, so if this prize isn’t for you, you might want to check back later.

The Car Competition

Doing exactly what it says on the tin, The Car Competition offers a couple of giveaways where entrants could win a car. To enter, you need to answer a question, your ticket is then added to your basket, where you can add more or less entries at 99p a go. Previous winners have driven away with a Mitsubishi Evo IX, a Honda Civic Type-R and a Audi TTS. They also offer a cash alternative should you wish to switch up your winnings.
