Abarth Unveils New 600e

The new Abarth 600e will be based on the Fiat 600e.

Fiat’s Abarth brand has unveiled a new electric crossover in the Abarth 600e. The vehicle is still in design stages, but the promise is of a sports-driving EV in the Abarth racing tradition.

The new Abarth 600e will be based on the Fiat 600e, a small (B-segment) sport utility. It features 240 horsepower, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and high performance tires from research in Formula E racing.

Fiat says that the new Abarth 600e is undergoing final testing before making its first public debut in Milan, where a commercial will be filmed. The launch models will initially be exclusive Abarth 600e Scorpionissima with production limited to 1,949 units. The Scorpionissima model is built around three main features: a design to reach maximum performance, a car structure to make it the most powerful Abarth ever, and a competitive spirit to attract motor’s enthusiasts.
