Henrik Fisker is back with a concept motorcycle called the Viking

Henrik Fisker may have lost his luster in the U.S., where his automotive company, Fisker Motors, went bankrupt after a series of mishaps led to its destruction. But in Denmark, he’s still a popular designer and a new motorcycle concept shows he’s not down and out either.

The Viking Concept is the first time Fisker has put his design acumen to a motorcycle, courtesy of Lauge Jensen, a brand of Anders Kirk Johansen – who’s family invented LEGO toys.

The Viking Concept itself is a tribute to classic cruisers with a flowing design and V-twin engine. It will likely be the first motorcycle to be Euro IV compliant (2016 emissions regulations) when it enters limited production.

The bike itself is a 100 horsepower machine with a 45-degree V-twin engine that powers it to 130 mph. The engine is imported from Wisconsin, U.S.A.

When the Viking enters production, it will join the Lauge Jensen Great Dane custom cruiser, a limited production bike, but in higher volume and at a lower price point.
