Scrion FR-S Release Series 1.0 Hits Dealerships

Scion has produced a limited edition of their popular rear-drive sports car, the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0. Described as a “modern homage to the sport coupe’s racing roots,” the new FR-S was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) earlier this year and is now on dealership lots nationally.

Only 1,500 of the FR-S Release Series 1.0 cars will be made. They are demarked by an exclusive paint called Yuzu and include several Toyota Racing Development (TRD) enhancements, including a Quad Tip Exhaust System and lowered springs. Fender garnishes and a different aero kit including a new rear spoiler are also noted.

The Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 vehicles will be demarked by their series production number on the aluminum shifter surround plate. Here is a walk-around of the new FR-S:
