Neil Young Publishing New Biography ‘Special Deluxe’

51eGTD1ZrIL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_Rock star Neil Young is well known for his love of classic cars. He converted a 1959 Lincoln into a plug-in electric called the Lincvolt, after all, and then wrote a song about the guy who did the engineering for the conversion. The car was cool, the song.. not so much.

Now the septuagenarian rocker has written his second memoir titled Special Deluxe: A Memoir of Life & Cars. The book hits stores on the 14th in hardcover and chronicles, in rambling succession, Young’s love affair with various automobiles throughout his life. It’s illustrated by the guitar strummer himself, with abstracts of the cars Neil’s loved.

The book is available for pre-order on Amazon (link here supports the Wounded Warrior Project). It will be available in hardcover, Kindle, and audiobook formats.
