As a pizza lover, I feel it is my duty to do something.

According to insurance company studies, there are more pizza related car accidents on the day of the big game than any other day of the year. Mitsubishi Motors is going the extra mile to protect the pie this Sunday by equipping a local Boston pizza delivery driver with one of the safest CUVs on the road, the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander. Follow @MitsuCars on Twitter for live updates. Post-game coverage will include “Protect The Pie,” a short film that goes behind-the-scenes on this busiest day of the year for pizza delivery drivers.

So where can you help?

The 2014 and 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander has been named an IIHS Top Safety Pick + when equipped with Forward Collision Mitigation, and Mitsubishi wants to show that its advanced safety technology can help you avoid accidents, even on the busiest of days.

Now Mitsubishi, could we make it a plug-in hybrid, PHEV instead?
