Subaru XV Concept Shown In Geneva As Preview to Future Design

Subaru has unveiled the XV Concept at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show to preview the company’s design direction for its next generation of vehicles. Using the “Dynamic X Solid” philosophy, Subaru aims to add a robust appearance with raised clearance for the go-anywhere personality.

Most of the XV Concept’s look will be familiar to Subaru fans with the wagon-style tapered roof, heavy fascia and emphasized ground clearance. Body lines along the sides, especially as fender enhancements, are a new thing, though, accentuating the muscular nature of Subaru vehicles. The grille is smaller and the fascia more forward and flat overall, building on that theme.
