Raminator Monster Truck Shatters Guinness Record

The Raminator, a Ram Truck-sponsored monster truck run by the Hall Brothers Racing Team, crushed the Fastest Speed for a Monster Truck record in Guinness World Records today. The previous world record speed was 96.8 miles per hour and the Raminator rolled over that one by more than 2 miles per hour at 99.10 mph this morning.

The entire line of monster trucks from Ram (Raminator, Rammunition, and Mopar Muscle) are owned and operated by the Hall Brothers Racing Team based out of Champaign, Ill. Raminator has been named Monster Truck Racing Association’s (MTRA) “Truck of the Year” a record eight times, while Mark Hall, driver of Raminator, has been named MTRA “Driver of the Year” nine times since 1996, and Crew Chief Tim Hall has been named MTRA “Mechanic of the Year” five times since 2006.

The record-busting run was made at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
