Q&A: Are EVs the Next Manufacturing Revolution?

My answer requires some explanation, but the short version is: Nope.

In this episode, I’m asked about manufacturing revolutions in automotive and whether electric vehicles are the next one. My answer requires some explanation, but the short version is: Nope.

But not because EVs aren’t revolutionary. They just aren’t actually changing manufacturing in the same way other automotive manufacturing revolutionized things. They’re a technology revolution, not a manufacturing revolution.
