The new Forza Motorsport 5 game, Gran Turismo‘s biggest competition, for the Xbox One features a lot of cool cars on many of the world’s greatest circuits. This very high-definition game also has something unexpected: downloads to add on some really unusual cars to race. Two of those downloads include the Spark-Renault SRT_01E electric Formula E racer and the Rolls-Royce Wraith.
Available as a free download for the game, the Formula E F1-style electric car was announced as a free download in a lead-in to the GamesCom in Germany, where the Formula E car is on display for gaming fans.
Some of the tracks featured in the game are places where the actual Formula E race car will be competing in 2015, including the Long Beach ePrix in April.
Meanwhile, another free download available to Forza 5 fans is the Rolls-Royce Wraith with its sweeping fastback design and 1,340 fiber optic lamps. Most interesting to players might be that the full interior of the Wraith has been reproduced for those who take the driver’s-eye view for the game.
Players can put all 12 cylinders of the Wraith to work on the world’s best race tracks in this first-ever official appearance of a Rolls in a video game.
